Founded in 2016 by a group of parents of children and young people with IDD, including those with Trisomy 21 and Autism Spectrum Disorders, the organization’s mission is to unlock the potential of these individuals and integrate them into society. They aim to provide the opportunities needed for them to lead fulfilling and independent lives.

Volunteer Opportunities at Associação Vila Com Vida
Associação Vila Com Vida is dedicated to enhancing the skills and integration of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). They offer a variety of volunteer opportunities for individuals looking to contribute their time and expertise. Here are the current volunteer needs:
- Administrative Help: They are seeking volunteers to assist with paperwork, including digitizing, registering, and organizing invoices and other administrative tasks. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys organization. Duration: 1 to 2 hours per week.
- Office 365 Training: In light of our digital transition, our management team needs training on Office 365 tools such as OneDrive, SharePoint, Planner, Notes, Teams, and Loop. Duration and Location: To be scheduled based on trainer availability.
- Meta Training, Google Ads, and Google Analytics: As a growing organization, boosting their online presence is crucial. They need an expert in Meta, Google Ads, or Google Analytics to train their marketing team on these platforms. Duration: 1 to 2 hours per week, either in-person or online.
- Additional Support Needs: They also require assistance with IT security training, document translation, and optimizing Excel files to enhance efficiency and security.
These volunteer opportunities not only help Associação Vila Com Vida operate more effectively but also directly contribute to its mission of inclusion, providing individuals with IDD the tools needed to live independently and make meaningful contributions to society.
